Makasha Copeland is an actor, writer, and comedian based in Los Angeles. They co-created and performed in PDA, a short film/live comedy show/pop song that premiered at East Village Queer Film Festival and Ars Nova's ANT fest.

They were a two-time resident comedic artist at Ars Nova, where they co-created, co-wrote, and performed in comedic film Madre Mia/Minha Maẽ and dance comedy concept STDYCD through CAMP. Their play Extreme Home Makeover won the 2022 M. Elizabeth Osborn award and was recently produced at American Lives Theater, Scripps Ranch Theater, and Theater Exile.

They have an improv past and presently write comedic screenplays with Morgan Rielly, including horror feature Shark Rabies.
